On 1st January 2021 the UK adopted the PPE legislation which replaces the CE mark for PPE products placed on the GB market. The UK legislation will involve the use of a new ‘United Kingdom Conformity Assessed’ (UKCA) mark, which will need to be placed on products as a means of showing conformance with applicable UK legislation. Lucy Liu will explain the changes that have come into force on the 1st January 2021 and discuss the implications across supply chains. Meanwhile, she will introduce the application procedure of UKCA.
