CIOSH 2024: Set to Commence in Shanghai today
As the leading trade fair for safety and occupational health in China, the 106th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2024), jointly organized by China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (MDS), will be grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) Hall E1-E7 from 25-27 April 2024. CIOSH 2024 will feature more than 1,500 high-quality exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, showcasing a wide range of advanced products and technologies in an exhibition area exceeding 80,000 square meters. CIOSH Industry Technical Seminar: Exchange New ideas and Share Emerging Trends
The Industry Technical Seminar is an important part of CIOSH, which offers attendees numerous opportunities of high-level education and exchange. This year, experts from China Certification Center, CCQS Certification, British Standards Institution (BSI) and SGS will explore the theme of "Green and Sustainable Development," delving into the direction of the green transformation of the personal protective equipment industry and analyzing the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. Additionally, there will be multiple new product launch events, where innovative technology products and new application solutions will be unveiled in Hall E7.
Unmissable Fall Protection Demonstration
The rapid development of national infrastructure and increased investment in construction are driving the demand for fall protection systems in high-altitude works. Answers to questions on how to prevent accidents from height and select appropriate products and use them correctly can all be found in the Fall Protection Zone located in Hall E6. SKYLOTEC, Tractel, JECH, NTR Safety, ANCHORLINE, HOATER and Jintai Hongli, seven companies that specialize in protection at height, will provide visitors with professional guidance, training, and demonstrations on fall protection equipment in the zone.
Upgraded EXO Park
CIOSH has always implemented the strategy of expanding the business scope in a diversified way. Last year, CIOSH introduced the concept of exoskeletons for the first time and successfully launched the Exoskeleton Technology Experience Park (EXO Park). Exoskeletons can greatly reduce the fatigue of workers who works in heavy and repetitive physical tasks, improve operational efficiency, while reducing the risk of occupational diseases, improve enterprise productivity.
This year, EXO Park has been fully upgraded with three professional robotic exoskeleton solution integrators, adding scenario simulation sections. Visitors can directly wear exoskeleton robots to perform tasks such as heavy lifting, maintenance, and assembly, experiencing the future work mode of human-machine interaction firsthand.
CIOSH 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) runs from 25 to 27 April. From April 25 to 26, the opening hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, and on April 27, the opening hours are 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
Furthermore, the new platform for personal protective equipment (PPE) in Bangkok: CIOSH Thailand - Thailand International Exhibition for Personal Protective Equipment will take place for the first time in the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 05 - 07 June 2024, after which it will be held annually.
