About Visa and Entry Policies for Foreign Exhibitors and Visitors to China
According to the latest visa and entry policies for foreigners to China released by the National Immigration Administration, since March 15th 2023, China's port visa authorities resume processing port visas applications of all categories for foreigners.
- 1、Foreigners with valid visas issued before March 28, 2020 will be allowed to enter China.
- 2、The following visa-free policies will be resumed: Hainan 59 country visa-free entry policy, 15-Day visa-free travel for cruise groups at Shanghai ports, visa-free entry to Guangdong Province for foreigners’ group from Hong Kong and Macao SARs, visa-free entry to Guilin of Guangxi Autonomous Region for tourist groups from ASEAN countries.
【Visa Application】
All foreigners to China must apply for a visa and comply with the health requirement on entering into Chinese mainland. Regarding the detailed requirement and policies of specific countries or regions, please refer to Chinese Visa Application Service Center: https://www.visaforchina.cn/globle/
【Entry Health Requirements】
1、Starting January 8th 2023, foreigners who intend to visit China will take a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) with 48 hours prior to their departure, those who have a negative result are allowed to enter and do not need to apply for a ‘Health Code’ from Chinese embassies and undergo centralized quarantine.
2、All visitors who enter mainland China have to fill in a health declaration form within 24 hours prior to their entry.

* Starting March 1st 2023, foreigners who enter China through straight flights from Russia, Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland, Egypt, UAE, Hungary, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and Cambodia may use an antigen test result (including self-testing with antigen test kits) as a substitute for NAAT. Foreigners from other countries and regions still have to present a negative NAAT result within 48 hours upon entry.
